Phyllis was a gifted poet and enjoyed reading. Her greatest love though, was being “Nana” to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Lancaster; her children, Charles Branden Bloomberg (Rachel), Amanda Leigh Smyer (Brian), and Steven Andrew Lancaster; her grandchildren, Kerri Lynne Bloomberg, Nina Bloomberg, Alyssa Melin, Shilen Sutton, Liam Sutton, and Steven Andrew Lancaster, II; and one great grandson, Carter Ellis Andrews. Also surviving are her father, Charles Linwood Bloomberg; her sisters, Barbara Jean Rowe (Jerry) and Rose Marie Sexton (Jason); her brother, Charles Brent Bloomberg (Tracy). Sadly, she was preceded in death by her Mother, Betty Jean Bloomberg.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Cotten Funeral Home. Following the visitation, there will be a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Chapel with burial to follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
