Ray Holt Moser

Ray was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, playing golf with his brother and cooking for family and friends. He was Personnel Director for Burlington Industries in Lexington, NC and was Corporate Personnel Director for E. R. Carpenter Company in Richmond, VA. He was also Human Resources Director and Assistant County Manager for Craven County Government. He served in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of Vietnam.

Ray was preceded in death by his father, Neuma Holt Moser, mother, Ella Mae Moser Johnson and brother, Harry Lee Moser.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Moser; daughter: Caryn Cathleen Moser of New Bern; brother, Larry B. Moser of New Bern; two sisters: Della Jean Moser of New Bern and Ella Marie Anderson of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church with Rev. Susan Pate Greenwood officiating. Interment will be in Greenleaf Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cotten Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930 B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
