Ricardo "Ricky G"" Arthur Gonzalez

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 10, 2022 at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel.

He is survived by his father, Hugo Gonzalez of Patchogue, NY; sister, Angelina Gonzalez of Beaufort County; fiance, Maria Gonzalez Cuthrell of New Bern; aunt, Sheri Siee of Daytona Beach, FL; and numerous friends and family members.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Tracy Yula, his grandmother, Linda Yula, his sister, Marissa Gonzalez and his brother, Nelson (Nelly) Goff.

Ricky was the life of the party. He was hilarious, outstanding, kindhearted, generous, and sweet. He was loyal to his friends and family. Although the world gave him every reason to give up, he remained loving and loyal to those he loved. If love could have saved him he would have lived forever. We are all broken hearted. When we lose someone we love we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love he left behind. Ricky was a friend to all, a great encourager, supporter, vivacious and full of life. We should all carry a piece of that with us.

Ricky was a shining star.
