Sallie was born in Tulsa, OK to the late James Donald and Mary Lee Mitchell.
She was a LPN working in health care for almost 30 years. Her favorite past times were playing scrabble, Mahjong, golf and spending time with her family. She will be most remembered by her nickname "Bonecrusher" for her skill at playing cards.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Connelly and her son, Richard G. Connelly.
Sallie is survived by her sons, James D. Connelly and wife Karen and Jay P. Connelly significant other Kara Small; four grandchildren, Jeannie Smith and husband Adam, Elizabeth Morris and husband Byron; four great grandchildren, Ava Smith, Lily Smith, Kristen Morris and Josh Morris; two great great grandchildren, Anastasia Lilly and Claire Lilly.
