Thomas James Dalton Jr.

Thomas James Dalton, Jr was born on January 26, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri. Thomas spent most of his life in Bridgewater, NJ before retiring to New Bern NC in 1998. He was a graduate of the University of Miami with a degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Business Administration from Rutgers University.

Thomas worked as Director of Production and Engineering at American Hoechst before going to Sandoz Pharmaceutical then retiring in 1996. Thomas served as a Naval Aviator in the United States Navy from 1958 until 1965. He was a parishioner of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in New Bern NC. In his spare time, he loved to fly remote control planes, sail on his sailboat – called WindSprint, and most of all, golf. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Surviving is his wife of 65 years, Patricia Joan Dalton, daughters Tracey Jankowski (Stan) and Kelly Colosimo (John) and his son Thomas J Dalton, III. He has four grandchildren, Douglas Jankowski (Kayla), Casey Jankowski (Cassie), Christopher Colosimo (Nadya) and Danel Colosimo (Callie) and one great-granddaughter (Juliana).

Visitation will be at St. Pauls Roman Catholic Church, 3005 Country Club Road, New Bern, NC on Monday, August 21 from 10.00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Knights of Columbus and New Bern Craven County Rescue Squad.
