William “Bill” Brinkley Venters 83, of New Bern, died Friday June 17, 2016 at home. He was a loving husband, father, and Pop-o who had a love for the church he attended and his masonic fraternity. He enjoyed decades of golfing and boating on the river.
He is survived by his wife Wilma J. Venters, daughters, Nancy Carlson, and Frances Lopez, and his grandchildren, Erik, Kristen, Alexis, and Joshua.
Visitation service will be at 6-8 pm on Monday, June 20,2016 at Cotten Funeral Home with Masonic Funeral Honors by St. John’s Lodge #3 at 7:00pm.A Funeral Service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, June 21,2016 at Garber United Methodist Church
