Beverly Anne Buchfeld, of San Antonio, Texas passed away from natural causes, on Friday May 15, 2020 at the age of 76. Beverly was born on July 22, 1943 to Guadalupe Tamayo Gallardo and Rose Mary Le Meilleur of San Antonio, Texas. Beverly was the oldest of two children. She married her first husband John James Buchfeld on June 3, 1961 and they had a baby boy name John James Buchfeld Jr. both who tragically died in a car accident just north of Fredericksburg, Texas on July 5, 1964. She remarried to George Robert Stifflemire, Jr. of Port Lavaca, Texas and had two sons. Beverly worked as a dental assistant, beautician and was a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She enjoyed traveling, watching movies from the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s, cooking shows, The Golden Girls, and Murder, She Wrote (Angela Lansbury) as well as playing dominos with friends from church. She had a passion for helping the elderly and always strived to help where she could make their lives a little bit better.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe Tamayo Gallardo, Rose Mary Le Meilleur and her first husband John James Buchfeld and first-born child John James Buchfeld Jr. She is survived by her son George Robert Stifflemire, III, wife Suk Chong, grandson Joseph and great granddaughter Emma; son Jay Scott Stifflemire, wife Liliya Kuznetsova and grandson Liam.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at Zoeller Funeral Home. A visitation will be prior to the Service from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will continue following the service.
