Charles E. Mayer, 85, of New Braunfels, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2013 at Sundance Inn Health Center. He was born to Joseph Anton Mayer and Ann F. Reinhardt in Nashville, Illinois on March 10, 1928. He is survived by his wife Irene Mayer of New Braunfels; daughter, Trish Mayer of New Braunfels; son, Doug Mayer and wife Brenda; two grandchildren, Jacob Mayer and Zoe Beck. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Public visitation will begin 5:00 PM Sunday at Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, January 20, 2014 at Cross Lutheran Church with Reverend Don Fraker officiating. Memorial Contributions may be given to Cross Lutheran Church.
