Delfino was a family man. He loved cooking his favorite Mexican dishes, going out to eat, playing cards and dominos, and spending as much time as possible with his family. Delfino had a very strong faith. For most of his life he worked on various farms. His most recent job was at the Palm Beach Polo Golf Course in Palm Beach, Florida. There he worked as a mechanic until his retirement and moved back to Texas.
Delfino is preceded in death by his parents Flavio and Delfina, numerous brothers and sisters, and his wife Alicia.
Delfino is survived by his sisters, Natividad Martinez of Loxahatchee, Florida and Santos Coronado of Amarillo, Texas; his biological children, son Delfino Rodrigues Jr of Brownwood, Texas and daughters Mary Jane Cardenas of San Antio, Texas and Amelia Cruz of West Palm Beach, Florida; step children, sons Jr. Melendez, Joe and Ernest, daughters Liz, Norma, Sylvia, Cynthia and Pricilla as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Public Viewing and Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 26, 2021 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130, with a Prayer Service starting at 7:00pm. The Prayer Service will be livestreamed on the Zoeller Funeral Home Facebook page. He will be laid to rest on Thursday May 27, 2021 at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 US-277 South, Abilene, Texas 79606 at 1:30pm.
