He is survived by his wife, Gloria Carrizales Herrera; sons, Domingo Herrera Jr. and wife Monica and Jordan D. Herrera; sister, Maria Rangel of Austin; grandchildren, Lauren, Katelyne, and Celine Castillo and Jada and Jayana Herrera and step grandchildren, Brittany Rivas, Tyler Withers and Shelby Withers . He was preceded in death by his parents, Margarito and Florentina Herrera; father-in-law, Raul Carrizales, Sr. and brothers and sisters, Nasario Herrera, Sr., Julia Jimenez, Margarita Martinez and David Herrera, Sr.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2011 and continue until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. A rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Zoeller Funeral Home chapel. A procession will depart the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass at the Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
