Donald was from Matewan, West Virginia. He moved to Baltimore, Maryland and worked for Local 37.

After Donald retired, he moved to Raeford, North Carolina and in 2018 moved to Bulverde, Texas.

Donald is survived by his beloved wife Diana, four children Ruthie (Carl), Walt (Elizabeth), Patrick (Mary),

Deborah (Tony) and daughter in love Alicia. He has eleven grandchildren Matt, Nick, Hope, Amanda,

Zachary, Tyler, Alyssa, Mackenzie, Richard, Samantha, and Sophia.
