Frank P. Merryman Jr.

October 3, 2017, at home surrounded by family. Born

December 19, 1932, in Easterly, Texas, he was the son of

Frank P. Merryman, Sr. and Virginia (Scott) Merryman.

Frank retired from the Air Force and then the City of San Antonio.

He served as a deacon at many Baptist churches having been

ordained in 1962. After retirement, he enjoyed traveling with

Volunteer Christian Builders building and remodeling churches.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Natalie Merryman;

along with four children; Vicky (Jan) Gould of Round Rock,

Cathy (Jim) Boenig of Seguin, Becky (Dave) Porter of New

Braunfels and Tim (Cindy) Merryman of Floresville, Texas; 14

grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 5-7 pm at Zoeller Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11:00 am at First Baptist New Braunfels. Private burial at a later date at Fort Sam Houston with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Hope Hospice, New Braunfels or First Baptist Church, New Braunfels.
