Garline Borgfeld passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the Trinity Care Center in Round Rock, Texas, at the age of 87. She was born to Edgar Warncke and Josephine (Wieters) Warncke in Guadalupe County on December 14, 1927.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur H. Borgfeld. She is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia Milligan of Pflugerville, TX; Brenda Borgfeld of Spring Branch, TX; her son, Frank Borgfeld of Pflugerville, TX; her sister Marjorie Kirmse of New Braunfels, TX; and her brother John Warncke of San Antonio, TX.
Garline was a longtime resident of Schertz before moving to Pflugerville, Texas. She was a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 8315 in Schertz, Texas and a Life Member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Public Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, at Zoeller Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 10:00am at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
