Griselda was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ernesto.
Griselda attended business school at San Antonio College and then went on to study sign language which was one of her passions. She taught the hearing impaired in both the San Marcos and San Antonio Independent School Districts.
Griselda was known for her contagious laugh and most times would end up in tears from having laughed so hard. She could recall past events as if they had just occurred and laugh uncontrollably.
Griselda loved her friends and family and kept mementos of special events that occurred during her lifetime, whether it was an invitation to a wedding, graduation, baptism, funeral of a loved one or a ticket stub from a concert she attended. Those were the fondest of memories that meant something to her.
Griselda was loved by and could relate to many people through her passion for music of all genres. She genuinely loved jazz and her GHP Radio family. We are most grateful to GHP Radio for allowing Griselda to be a part of their program as it brought her true joy.
Griselda is survived by friends from all over and family that will genuinely miss her, however we are comforted in knowing that she has been reunited with her parents and loved ones who have already passed on.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 11th at 1:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1390 Hanz Dr, New Braunfels, TX 78130.
