Guadalupe Jose Lagunas

Guadalupe Jose Lagunas, 55, of New Braunfels, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2010 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born to Alfonso and Natalia Romero Lagunas in New Braunfels, TX on March 23, 1955. He proudly served in the United States Navy on the USS Prairie. He was employed at Senior Flexonics for many years and was a parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church. He is survived by wife, Sylvia Lagunas; sons, Caesar Lagunas and wife Yolanda, Arthur Lagunas and wife Lisa, Alex Lagunas, and Eric Lagunas and Jennifer; grandchildren, Caesar Lagunas, Jr., Vivianna Lagunas, Noah Lagunas, Melinda Lagunas, Noel Lagunas, and Larissa, Aiden and Honey Bee Lagunas; brothers, Thomas Lagunas and wife Zelma, Ramiro Lagunas and wife Christina, Joe Lagunas and wife Oralia, Alfonso Lagunas and wife Mary and Juan Lagunas and wife Delma; sisters, Julia Aguirre and husband Richard, Esperanza Valdez, and Sylvia Martinez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso and Natalia; brother, Andres “Chuco” Lagunas; sister, Tomasa Lagunas; nephews, Guadalupe Lagunas, Rogelio Lagunas, Edward Martinez and Jason Lagunas; and niece, Melinda Lagunas.

Public visitation will begin 8:00 AM Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at the Zoeller Funeral with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.

Visitation will continue on Wednesday until 9:30 AM when the service departs in procession to the Church. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at Holy Family Catholic Church with Reverend Ignatius Himawan, MSF - Celebrant. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors. Pall-bearer are: Joe Lagunas, Leonard Lagunas, Michael Martinez, Nayo Leos, Andy Gallegos and Harry Perez.
