Imogene E. Tolson, 84, of New Braunfels, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Kirkwood Manor. She was born to James Albert Ellis and Zella Mae (Falls) Ellis in Seminole, Oklahoma on September 7, 1927. Imogene lived a life of service to the Lord, as Tweety’s helpmate, and in meeting the needs of students she worked with. She had a host of lifelong friends because of her spark-plug personality.
She is survived by sister, Illabelle Puckett and Iris Lee Simonton; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Tolson; and brother, James Allen Ellis.
Public visitation will begin 5:00 PM Tuesday at Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until service time. A Funeral Service will be held 12:00 noon Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Zoeller Funeral Home with interment to follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
