Leslie Dixon Hardin of New Braunfels, Texas, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018, after a brief illness. Leslie was born April 7, 1943, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is survived by her husband Thomas R. Hardin, son Vernon S. Hardin, her granddaughters Angel Uglow, Morgan R. Motto, Lynn Hardin Marcelli and her grandson Thomas L. Hardin. She is preceded in death by her daughter Leslie L. Hardin. In her early years Leslie modelled and attended classes at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. Exceptionally motivated and intelligent, she quickly ascended the professional ranks to become the head of Human Resources for a large government agency in the State of Nevada as well as earning her Nevada real estate license. Self-made, Leslie was a savvy real estate and financial investor. She moved to Seguin, Texas in 1998, and became a ranch owner of the T-L Ranch. Leslie and Tom were married for 60 years. They travelled the world extensively and lived for a number of years in the Middle East where she served as a director of an international school. Leslie was also a talented dancer, chef, painter and was a patriot. Leslie was a mother of two, a grandmother of four, and a great grandmother of three. Leslie was a gentle and generous soul, fiercely protective of her family and friends, a brilliant and talented individual, was our mentor, guide, and our strongest advocate in this life.
