Lloyd M. Bremer

Lloyd M. Bremer went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 13, 2017 at the age of 96. He was born in Bulverde, Texas on May 25, 1920 to Edgar and Emma Krause Bremer. Lloyd served in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion. He retired from a career in Civil Service at Randolph Air Force Base. Lloyd was an avid deer hunter and loved gardening and working with flowers and plants in his yard. When he wasn’t busy gardening he always enjoyed spending time with his family.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Bremer and Emma Krause Bremer, and his loving wife of over 50 years, Mercedes Schneider Bremer. He is survived by his son, Byron Bremer and wife Susan, daughter, Gloria Laird and husband Dean; grandchildren, Amber Laird, Eric Bremer, Brad Bremer, and Greg Laird; nieces and nephews, Zada Jahnsen, Darwin Bremer, George Fischer, and Renee Tynan; and numerous grand-nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Zoeller Funeral Home from 6-8pm. There will be a Graveside Service held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Comal Cemetery at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made, in Lloyds honor, to Hope Hospice or a charity of your choice.
