Mary was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on January 19, 1933, to William (Pete) and Camille Lawrence. She attended Mount St. Mary’s Academy, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She married Angelo Martin Mancuso on July 23, 1952, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Mary went on to fulfill her dream of becoming a devoted wife of 67 years and mother of 7 children. She was a devout Catholic, volunteered at her church and nursing homes, spent time as a Den Mother and Girl Scout leader and did so much more for her children. She loved music and playing the piano. Mary was faithful, loving and giving and did everything with her whole heart and out of love. Always with a gleam in her eyes and smile on her face, she truly loved serving everyone.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Martin Mancuso; her son, Larry Wayne Mancuso; parents, William and Camille Lawrence; brother, Leroy Lawrence; grandson, Joshua Brister; and great-granddaughter, Emilee Rosebud.
Mary is survived by her children, Julie Mancuso, Janet (David) Morse, Diane Pelczynski, Carol Mancuso, Brian (Thuy) Mancuso and Angela (Frank) Baker, brother, Michael Lawrence, 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
There was a small, intimate service for Mary in which Father Mike anointed her with the Sacrament of the Sick and along with her children, recited the rosary (Chaplet of the Divine Mercy).
