Leslie and family - I very saddened and shocked at finding out about Mike's passing.  He was a great man who I enjoyed knowing.   I met him probably 25 or 30 years ago and always got a smile out of any interaction with him.  He was a great man and will be sorely missed.  RIP my friend.

I just couldn't believe it when I heard the news today....still can't believe it. It hit me like a ton of bricks, and I wept...a lot. Mike was absolutely one of my favorite people.. ..someone who meant what they said and whose word was his bond. As a Kansas girl, I don't see that very often in CA. He was one of a kind. I'll always look back and remember the nice lunch we had at Ancho's a couple months ago which feels like yesterday. I'm so happy Mike really enjoyed Texas and was there in his last days. As partners in the past, we were excited together. As friends we made each other laugh. We shared our dreams for family and business, most of which came true. But Mike was his own man and there was no equal.
