Nathan B. Weed Jr.

Nathan B. Weed Jr. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the age of 81. He was born on November 6, 1935 to Nathan B. Weed Sr. and Lee Irene Chipman in San Antonio, Texas. On November 10, 1956 he married the love of his life, Barbara Louise Holliday in Lovington, New Mexico.

Nathan loved camping, hunting, barbequing, fishing and most of all spending time with his wife and family. He loved his family more than anything. Family always came first. Nathan was a hard worker all his life. He enjoyed working with his hands and could build anything. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 59 years, Barbara L. Weed; and his son, David Allen Weed. Nathan is survived by his daughters, Brenda Weed Wharton and husband David, Cynthia Zafereo and husband Jerry; grandchildren, Stacey, Whitney, Rachel, Thomas, Traci, and John; and 7 great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Zoeller Funeral Home from 5-8pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 11 am. The Graveside Service will begin at 1:00pm at Cranes Mill Cemetery in Canyon Lake. A small reception will immediately follow at Bethel Methodist Church of the Hill Country, 39002 FM 3159, New Braunfels, Tx. 78132.
