

She was an amazing mother, sister, wife, and grandmother. She was known for talking to strangers as if they were lifelong friends, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her warmth, kindness, and ability to connect with others were truly special. Her laughter, stories, and unconditional love filled every room she entered.
She loved spending time with her family and treasured the companionship of her many cats. She enjoyed going on cruises, road trips, and there wasn’t a casino she would pass without wanting to stop. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joyce Thomas and Edward Hayes, as well as her former husbands, Allen Bennett and Billy Howington. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (& husband, Dr. Robert Dugan); her son, Glenn (& wife Linda Lee); Allen B. Bennett II (Benji); Davin (& wife Shelly Bennett); Karen (& husband BMCM Christopher Stover), Paul (& wife Laurie Howington); her grandchildren, Christian (& wife Karla Lee), Makenzie Seiler (who sat by her bed, holding her hand until the very end), Bradlee Seiler, Jax Stover, Billy (& wife Katie Lee Howington), and Mia Howington; great-grandchildren, Jayden Lee and Mason Bennett. She also leaves behind her three sisters Sandra (& husband Wayne Howington), Kathleen (& husband Bill Robertson), and Margaret Hayes.
Graveside services will be held at Hill Country Memorial Gardens, located at 11700 TX-46 in New Braunfels, Texas, on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
