

Pat was a retired carpenter at Kelly Air Force Base (now Joint Base San Antonio – Lackland) Air Logistics Center. Born into a military family, Pat spent his childhood years in Texas, California, and Japan. After graduation from high school in 1964, he joined the United States Air Force, serving as public affairs specialist at Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin, Texas. After was honorably discharged the Air Force in 1968, Pat worked many years in the construction and oil industry in across Texas and Wyoming. Pat has called the New Braunfels-Canyon Lake area “home” since the late 1970’s.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Gordeen Courreges, and younger brother, Rory. He is survived by his son, Lucas “Luke” Courreges and wife Lauren, grandsons Seth and Sean, and granddaughter Shyenne; sisters Annette Kirkpatrick and husband Mike, Cheryl Courreges, Frances Erb and husband Phil, and Dawn Adams; brother Marc Courreges and wife Vicki. Additionally, Pat is survived by many nieces and nephews. In his final years, his niece, Marcie Griffin and husband Glenn formed the core of his support network.
Donations in his memory can be sent to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Heart Association.
A Public Visitation will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa Street, New Braunfels, Texas 78130 from 09:00am until 10:00am. A graveside service will follow at Cranes Mill Cemetery, 10121 Farm to Market 2673, Canyon Lake, Texas 78133 with military honors.
