Patrick “Pat” Edward Tolle went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2018 at the age of 65. He was born on March 15, 1953 in Los Alamos, New Mexico to Jerry Donnell and Jo Ann Pinkston. Following his father’s death, his mother married “Bud” Tolle in San Antonio, Texas.
Pat graduated from Thomas A Edison High School in San Antonio, Texas in May 1971. During high school, he played drums in the band. For the last sixteen years, Pat was employed by Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union as Vice President of IT and Construction. He was instrumental in the planning and construction of three ASC sites.
As a boy, Pat was a Cub Scout and later enjoyed his membership in the Boy Scouts. One of his favorite pastimes was spending time at Medina Lake and Lake LBJ, fishing, swimming and waterskiing. Those childhood days brought him many fond memories, and later he bought waterfont property in Kingsland, Texas. Pat and his wife Carol entertained family and friends there.
On April 19, 1975 he married Carol Howard, the love of his life and they shared 43 years of a wonderful marriage.
Pat was preceded in death by his biological parents. He is survived by his wife, Carol; two sons, Wesley and Jeffrey Tolle; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Tolle; grandchildren, Charlotte Tolle and Jesse Montemayer; father-in-law, Jay Howard; brothers-in-law Jim Howard of Austin and Brad Howard of San Diego. Pat is also survived by “Bud” Tolle; brother’s Donald and Mark Tolle; a sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and John Walker; nephew and wife, Marcus and Janice Mitchell and children, Taylor and Zane Byrd, Travis and Katherine Mitchell; cousins, Reverend Don and Darla Somerville and their children, Darren, Donna Sue and Kent Parge.
Public visitation will be held at 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Zoeller Funeral Home in New Braunfels. Funeral service will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10:00 am. No burial service will be held. Service will be officiated by Reverend Don Somerville and Jeff Robinette.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the kindness and professional care of Pat to Desiray Dawn Dugger, Melanie Boone, and Cheyenne Seigman, nurses and ministers from Kindred Hospice.
