

After a recent illness, Ramsey passed away peacefully at his home in New Braunfels, TX. Ramsey was born and raised in Orgas, West Virginia. He faithfully served his Country as a World War II Army Veteran and retired from Phillips Petroleum.
Surviving are his beloved wife Ann Michael for 59 years and 2 sons, Larry and wife Linda of San Antonio, Jerry and wife Lucy of San Marcos and late son Terry of Illinois, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 1 step grandchild, 2 great step grandchildren. He was the oldest of nine children born to the late Rev. Ramsey and Grace Michael. Ramsey will forever be remembered by his devoted three brothers Larry of Florida, David of West Virginia and Frankie of N. Carolina, late loving 5 sisters, Betty, Barbara, Mary Jane, Pat and Helen. Ramsey touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humour all the way to the end.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 28th, 2011 from 5:00PM to 8:00 PM and services on December 29th at 10:00 AM at the Zoeller Funeral Home 615 Landa Street, New Braunfels, TX 78130. Burial will be at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
