

Rey was born on July 19, 1952 to Gloria M. and Eliseo C. Vallejo in Big Springs, Texas but spent most of his life in New Braunfels and Houston.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, his brothers Eliseo Jr and Andrew, he is reunited in heaven with is beloved wife Juanita Aguirre Vallejo.
Rey is survived by his brother Domingo Vallejo and a sister Janie Vallejo, by his children, Ray Anthony Vallejo, Roy Vallejo, his wife Lindsey, and his Princess Stefanie Vallejo. 8 grandchildren, Ray, Lissette, Roy, Carter, Rylind, Katelynn, Jizelle and Miliana. Rey was also expecting his first great grandchild Marcelo Vallejo. Along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and a lot of friends from both New Braunfels and Houston.
Rey was always a hardworking man who spent most of his life as a truck driver. He started driving trucks at a very young age and continued in this profession until his retirement in 2019 but even in his later years he was still trying to get back to driving trucks. Over the last few years, he delivered auto parts all over Houston, it was not driving the big trucks he loved but to him it was driving, and he loved it.
Carrying Rey to his final resting place will be his sons, Ray Anthony Vallejo, Roy Vallejo, his grandsons Roy Vallejo Jr, Carter Vallejo, his nephew Raul Flores and longtime friend Adam Maldonado
A public viewing and visitation for Ray will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. A holy rosary will occur Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. A holy mass will occur Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 386 N Castell Ave, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. A commital service will occur Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Peace Ave, New Braunfels, Texas 78130.
