Richard Keir

Richard H. Keir, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed to his eternal life with God on August 11, 2013 at the age of 89. He was preceded in death by his parents, JC and Sarah May Keir, his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Betty Keir, parents-in-law Jesse and Minnie Colburn, sister-in-law Virginia Terrell and brother-in-law Harold Fagg. He is survived by his beloved wife, Louise, daughters, Elizabeth Perez and husband Salvador, Cecilia Rich and husband Bill, son James, 2 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Jessie Fagg, and Minnie Long and husband Hector, many nieces and nephews, and many more loving and dear family, friends, and neighbors. Richard and Louise loved their 30 years together, their many travels, and their long time home at Canyon Lake. We wish to thank the staff at Kirkwood Manor for their loving care the last four weeks of his life.

Public Visitation will begin 5:00 PM Wednesday at Zoeller Funeral Home with a Vigil service to be recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the Holy Cross Cemetery in the Mausoleum Chapel. Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
