Rita K. Parker

Rita shared a devoted marriage with her husband, Rory Parker, and together they built a life centered on love, faith, and family. They would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this December. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who cared deeply for those around her and cherished every moment spent with her people. She was a very creative, witty, and thoughtful person who brought joy and warmth to those who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Rory Parker; her daughter, Krista Parker-Fair and her husband Andy Fair, along with their children Tristen Parker and Amelia Fair; and her son, Ryan Parker and his wife Tiffany Parker, along with their children Bryson Parker, Brayden Parker, and Kyler Parker. She is also survived by her siblings, Wayne Christopher & wife Polly, Barbara Cowart & husband Greg, and Wesley Christopher & wife La Nan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Love Christopher and Ora Nell Christopher (Dippel).

Rita was a faithful follower of Christ who loved studying the Bible and sharing Scripture with her family and with whoever would listen. She encouraged her children and grandchildren to grow in their faith, often participating in Bible studies and meaningful conversations about God’s Word. Her faith was a guiding light in her life and a lasting legacy to those who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home on April 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., where family and friends are invited to share stories, memories, and celebrate her life.
