

Ronald Kay Wunderlich, 63, went to be with the Lord on April 5, 2011 in Spring Branch, Texas. He was born in New Braunfels, Texas on July 24, 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents, Waldie and Mildred (Simon) Wunderlich and is survived by his wife, Charlene (Tausch), son Diron and wife Roxanne, daughters Robyn and Koryn, and granddaughters Hannah and Kayla. He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth and wife Mary Louise, brother-in-law Larry Tausch and wife Sherilyn, and was the loving uncle to five nieces, one nephew, four great-nieces, and two great-nephews. He is also survived by extended family, community members, and many dear friends. As a devout agriculture teacher at New Braunfels High School for 34 years, he impacted the lives of many students and colleagues. He was a hard-working man dedicated to family, farming, and long-lasting friendships. He was an active member of the following organizations: Spring Branch Bowling Club, Spring Branch Volunteer Fire Department, St. Paul Lutheran Church of Bulverde, Comal County Junior Livestock Association, Comal County Fair Association, Hermann Sons and National FFA Advisors Association. Visitation will be 3-6 p.m., Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa, New Braunfels, TX 78130. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 181 S. Santa Clara Ave., New Braunfels, TX 78130.
