old.
A kind and compassionate man, Stevie routinely won the "Christian Character" Award in his youth at Bracken Christian School. He showcased his selflessness and love through the way he interacted with
others. Always willing to give of himself and his time, he was never more than a phone call away for anyone who needed him.
Part of the graduating classes of 2004 at Smithson Valley High School and 2008 at Texas A&M University, Stevie displayed an incredible aptitude for scholastic pursuit. His intellect was limited only by
his ambition. As a nature lover, Stevie went into the Environmental Sciences with an eye on responsible stewardship of the earth while understanding the need for growth and development.
He belonged to a tight knit social group that began to take shape on the soccer and baseball fields in his early youth and continued, stronger than ever, until his death. He was loved by everyone who knew him. Stevie possessed a wit and smile that would light the entire room with joy and laughter.
While living in Austin, TX, Stevie met his wife and best friend, Dalon Renee Dudley. In keeping with his personality, they were married without fanfare in an extremely private courthouse ceremony on August
24, 2019. Both being animal lovers, they adopted a cat and named her Meyley, a blending of their last names. In short succession, they added two dogs, Cooper and Gunner.
Stevie was preceded in death by great-grandmother Ida Krijsman, grandmother Geertrudia Messick, and grandparents Cleburne Meyer and Valeska Meyer. He is succeeded in life by his wife Dalon Renee Meyer, grandfather Rayford Messick, parents Lynn and Debra Meyer, brothers Craig and Kevin, sister Lecia, and niece Charlene.
A memorial service for Stephen will be held Monday, December 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Emanuel's Lutheran Church, 206 N. Travis St., Seguin, TX.
