

Andrew Napierkowski, 72, beloved husband of Ursula (Szmurlo) Napierkowski passed away on Thursday, December 26 after courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 21, 1952, in Krasnosielc, Poland a son of the late Piotr and Cecylia (Janowski) Napierkowski. Andrew proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and worked for Beekley Company for more than 40 years. Andrew's sense of humor and love for his family and dog Winnie were unmatched, he was the most considerate and thoughtful person, always going out of his way to make others feel loved, appreciated, and provide a helping hand. He was an avid gardener and a passionate fan of his favorite teams of New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox along with UCONN Basketball and Football. Andy always provided a helping hand to the Polish community in volunteering especially for the Polish Language School im Jana Pawla II in New Britain, CT when his sons attended.
In addition to his wife Ursula of 32 years, he is survived by two sons who were his greatest pride and joy; Michael (Nicole) Arciszewski of Clinton and Christopher Napierkowski of Kensington, a cherished grandson; Tobias Arciszewski, his brother; Mitchell (Hanna) Napierkowski of Florida, his sister; Anna Woodward of Cromwell, sister-in-law Barbara Napierkowski of Bristol, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by his brother; Roman Napierkowski and his sister; Barbara Mikulec.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday, January 2, 2024, from 4-7pm at New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. His funeral will be on Friday, January 3, 8:30am at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Paul Church, 461 Alling St., Berlin, CT. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain, CT.
