Camillo Simone, 86, beloved husband of Lucia (DeNovellis) Simone, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. Camillo was born on May 22, 1935 in Abbateggio, Province of Pescara, Italy and was the son of the late Giuseppe and Rosa (D’Amore) Simone. Camillo arrived in this country in 1956 and was employed by the Stanley Works retiring in the Steel Mill division. Besides his wife of 59 years, he is survived by his brother in law Robert Voisine of New Britain and by many relatives in Italy. He was predeceased by his sister in law Elcina Voisine and by his siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial for Camillo will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Church of St. Ann, 95 North Street, New Britain, CT. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A calling hour for Camillo will be held from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the New Britain Memorial/Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, Ct 06053 prior to the Mass.
