Christopher Aaron Robertson, 37, of Plainville, CT, passed away unexpectedly August 9, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Barbara (Turcotte) and Michael Robertson of Plainville, CT, on November 7, 1981, in New Britain, CT.
Chris was a graduate of Plainville High School and was currently an employee of Whole Foods, Blue Back Square, in West Hartford, where he had many friends.
He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, trading craft beers and debating about politics. He looked forward and enjoyed his yearly trips to Costa Rica, visiting and sharing time with his many island friends. Chris always had a keen sense of humor and quick wit.
Chris will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help anyone at any time that was in need. Chris was an organ donor; his unselfish gift has now saved the lives of many people and once again he has shared his love.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses of The Hospital of Central CT Emergency Department and ICU, along with the amazing doctors and nurses on Bliss 10 at Hartford Hospital who took care of Chris. Our special thanks to the Chaplains who prayed with us and also to Trish and Wendy, two very special women. Chris was truly a loving son and a friend to many. He will be in our hearts forever. Pura Vida!
Besides his mother and father, Chris leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends and his cats Chloe and EJ, and “his” dog Freeway. He also leaves behind a special friend, Shary, from Costa Rica.
Visiting hours are Tuesday August 20, 2019 from 4PM-7PM at the New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain, CT 06053. The service will take place during the visitation at 6:30PM.
Minister Edward Varjabedian will be officiating.
