

With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the passing of our beloved Felicia Willis, of New Britain, CT who transitioned peacefully on February 18, 2026 with family by her side. Felicia was born August 20, 1955. She was predeceased by her parents Jessie and Mildred (Mitchner) Willis and brother Robert Willis. Felicia was employed by The Hospital for Special Care for over 30 years as Administration before retiring in 2024.
A Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend who gave selflessly, cared deeply and loved without limits. Her kindness and compassion uplifted others. Her strength and generosity touched and inspired everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Kind-hearted yet bold, gentle yet full of spark. Her radiant presence made her unforgettable. She lived with a spirited energy, never afraid to speak her mind. She was genuinely a beautiful balance of everything a family could ask for.
Deeply loyal and fiercely loving, her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her sons, whom she cherished beyond measure with fierce and tender pride. She supported them with a steadfast devotion that never wavered. If you knew Felicia, you knew she proudly spoke about her two boys to everyone.
Cooking was her love language and some of her favorite things to do were shopping, finding bargains, solitaire, and cruises, where she enjoyed exploring new places, the ocean breeze, and making memories.
Felicia leaves behind Two Sons; Darryl Jackson and wife Cristy Jackson of New Britain, CT and Ferris Jackson of New Britain, CT. Two sisters, Jessica Willis of New Britain, CT, Edwina Lebby of Meriden, CT and a Brother Derwin Willis of New Britain, CT. Eight grandchildren: Latrisha Jackson, Darryl Velez, Tatiana Jackson, Anthony Jackson, Kimberly Jackson, Cameron Pina, Jayla Jackson, and Dante Sheppard. Seven great grandchildren: Anthony Jr., Julius, Jayla, Dior, Damani, Zoey, and Jovany. A long time best friend, Marie Wooten as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort in knowing that her love continues to guide us. Her kindness, loyalty, and vibrancy will forever live on in the stories we share, the traditions she created, and the love she so generously gave.
As we say goodbye, we carry forward her legacy of Love, strength and unwavering devotion to her family. She leaves behind cherished memories that will forever warm our hearts and guide us through the years to come.
May her soul rest in peace surrounded by the same love she so freely gave in Life.
