Fernando (Freddy) Cuevas, Jr. of Hartford passed away on January 9, 2020 at the age of 53. Freddy was born on September 22, 1966 in Brooklyn, NY, loving son of the late Fernando Cuevas Sr. and Eulalia Cuevas. He is the father of Nathalie Cuevas, Gabriel Cuevas and step-father of Valery Nieves. He leaves behind his brother, Anthony Cuevas and fiancé, Antonio and his sister, Jessica Cooke and partner, Florian, along with his niece, Ariana. Freddy also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Freddy was known to be a very social person that would light up any room he walked into. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to give a helping hand. Freddy will forevermore be remembered by his loving nature and caring ways.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 15th, 2020 from 4-8pm, with a Prayer Service at 7:00PM New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home on 444 Farmington Avenue in New Britain. Burial will be private.
