

He was born on June 24, 1917, in New York, a son of the late John and Nettie Lowchy. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret (Farago).
Henry was an avid bowler extremely proud of his 300 game score. He enjoyed watching baseball and Nascar racing. Henry loved his family, pets, especially his cat Cujo. He could be found feeding the birds so he could watch them out his window. Spending time with his family brought him his greatest joy, and will be remembered for always having candy for his grandkids.
Henry was employed for many years from Rio Auto Body & retired from Hank’s Auto Body in New Britain.
Henry will be dearly missed by his son Henry Lowchy and his wife Susan of Berlin, daughter Carol Thompson of Berlin, daughter Wilma Curren of Middlefield, grandchildren; John, Dennis, Kimberly, Sherri, Kristen, Karen, great grandchildren; Jenna, Alexandra, Chelsey, Zachary, Kendra, Brandon, Nikki, James, Ella and Leah, great great grandchildren; Shelby and Colton, many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his beloved wife Margaret, Henry is predeceased by his sister Ann Szilage and son-in-law Richard Thompson.
A calling will be held on Wednesday September 30, 2015 from 8:30-9:30am at New Britain Memorial – Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10am in Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church, 121 Beaver Street, New Britain. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, New Britain.
