

HENRY J. PERZAN
June 3, 1924 – December 1, 2015
Henry J. Perzan, 91, beloved husband of Genevieve (Grace Nowakowski) Perzan, passed away peacefully on December 01, 2015 at Andrew House in New Britain. He was born on June 03, 1924 to Boleslaw and Maryanna (Mlynarczyk) Perzan. He proudly served as a Marine in WWII in the South Pacific, Russell Island Campaign. Henry was a Master Mechanic and owner of Henry J. Perzan Auto Service in New Britain for many years. He will be fondly remembered for his excellent service with a smile by many loyal satisfied customers. He enjoyed Polka Dancing with his partner Genevieve, singing, gardening, fishing and celebrating life spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife Genevieve of 66 years, he is survived by his children David Perzan of New Britain, CT, Denise Kominas and husband John of Plantsville, CT, Michael Perzan of Kalispell, Montana, Mary Owens and husband Gary of Springtown, Texas, Laura Beaulieu and husband Dan of Windsor, CT. Henry will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren: Charlie, Daniella, Dave, Tony and Gaven as well as his great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Sophia, Ethan, Linnea, Maya, Makayla and Annabella Sophia. He leaves his sisters Elizabeth Perzan and Regina DeDuck. Henry was predeceased by brothers, Walter, Boleslaw (William), Chester, and a sister Cecilia Banulski and his beloved grand-daughter Sherie Ann Kominas.
The family would like to express their deep gratitude to all the health care personnel at Andrew House in New Britain for their compassionate care and many acts of kindness, as well as Masonicare Hospice and the Volunteer Veterans. His caregivers will never forget his endless jokes, pleasant demeanor and selfless devotion to his wife Genevieve.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 8th from 4-7pm at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 9th at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Church; 158 Broad St., New Britain; followed by a burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery with military honors.
