

Jean A. (Crooks) Bergeron, 67, of Southington, CT passed away peacefully surrounded by loved her loved ones on January 14th, 2011 at The Hospital of Central CT, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Jean was born April 23rd, 1943 in New Britain. Jean was employed by the Roland Dumont Agency for nearly 25 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. She will be most remembered for being a giving, dedicated mother and grandmother. Jean always opened her heart and home to those in need. She was predeceased by her father, Myles Crooks and is survived by her mother, Doris (Bolles) Crooks of Kensington, CT and by her three sons: Mark Bergeron, his wife Donna and their son, Jared of Medical Lake, WA.; Paul Bergeron and Bernadette Thibodeau of Andover, CT; and Michael Bergeron and wife, Julie and their daughter, Amber Leigh of Southington, CT.; She is also survived by her sister, Donna Deuson, her husband Thomas of Henderson, NY and their son, Michael; Special life time friend, Sharron Blancato and her children and long time companion Sonny Lebeau.
Funeral services will begin Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 10am from the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed by the Funeral Liturgy at 11am in Immaculate Conception Church, Southington. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Southington. Visitation hours will be held Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011 from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
