On November 12, 1993, the world welcomed Jeff Veilleux in Saint George, Canada, a beautiful little boy who would grow to be an exceptional young man. Jeff's journey came to a close on April 27, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and determination that we will cherish forever.
Known for his infectious smile and laugh, Jeff had a unique ability to light up any room he entered. His stunning green eyes and beautiful soul captivated all who had the privilege of knowing him. Wearing his heart on his sleeve, Jeff's kindness and sincerity were evident in every interaction. His drive for perfection and his refusal to give up were qualities that inspired those around him.
Jeff shared a devoted nine-year relationship with the love of his life, Brittany Dumont. Their daughter, Hailey, was the light of Jeff's life, and his most treasured moment was the day she was born. His heart was forever captured that day. Jeff's love for Hailey knew no bounds, and his pride in her was evident in every conversation. His love for animals was evident in the 11 pets he cared for at home. He was never one to turn down any opportunity to be outside, whether it be hiking, fishing or camping. He was a man of many achievements, from his exceptional work ethic to the bold step of starting his own business, a venture that filled him with immense pride. And in a testament to his resilience, Jeff celebrated one year of sobriety, marking a milestone that showcased his strength and commitment to a brighter future.
Even in passing, Jeff continued to touch lives, saving three separate lives through organ donation. His selflessness granted those families more precious moments with their loved ones, a legacy of generosity and hope.
Jeff is survived by a loving family who will carry his memory forward: his cherished daughter, Hailey Veilleux; his devoted partner, Brittany Dumont; his mother, Catherine Gilbert and Partner Steeve Bisson; his father Marcel Veilleux; his sister Sarah Veilleux, his brothers Dave Veilleux and Nygel Champagne; his Step father Francis Champagne; his grandmother, Georgette Parent; and his grandmother, Bibiane Beaudoin and partner Laurier Nadeau. Jeff is predeceased by his grandfathers, Yvon Veilleux and Jocelyn Gilbert, who surely welcomed him with open arms.
As we bid farewell to Jeff, we extend our sincere gratitude for the outpouring of support and love from friends, family, and the community. Jeff's impact was profound, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May we carry his light and love forward, honoring the vibrant life he lived.
There will be a celebration of Life on May 24th at Wickham park in Manchester from 1130 to 330 for family and friends to share photos and memories.
