Kazimierz Felczak, 71, beloved husband to Maria (Sosnowska) Felczak, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Kazimierz was born February 4, 1947, in Wkra, Poland and was son to the late Jozef and Irena (Zientarska) Felczak.
Before immigrating to the states, he had been employed by Cukrownia Glinojeck for 35 years, working with heavy equipment. He arrived in the states in 2002 and continued to work in construction, including siding homes.
He will be remembered for being an amazing dad to his two daughters; Renata and Kasia, always putting family first, including his grandchildren, which were his pride and joy.
He enjoyed watching sports, mainly soccer. He was a very avid reader, he had vast knowledge of history and geography and was a VERY avid crossword puzzle .
He also an animal lover, and loved to cook, his dishes will be missed.
In addition to his devoted wife, Maria, of almost 50 years, he is also survived and will be dearly missed by his two daughters: Renata Brown and Kasia Czarnota, a son, Artur Felczak, his precious grandchildren: Adrian, Aleksandra, Izabella, Weronika, Julia and Natalia. He was also predeceased by a precious grandson, which he was very close to, Wiktor Wojcik, in 2017.
He is also survived by brothers; Piotr Felczak and his family and Stanislaw Felczak and family in Poland,
several nieces and nephews and dear friends and neighbors.
Please meet the family directly in church on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 for his Funeral Liturgy at 11AM in Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad Street, New Britain. Burial services will occur at a later time in Poland.
