

Kinga (Dlugozima) Owczarek 88 of Bloomfield died at home with her beloved family by her side. She was born in Poland and was the daughter of the late Jozef and Helena Dlugozima. Kinga is survived by her daughter Kasia Owczarek-Wilcox and son in law, Kevin Wilcox with whom she made her home. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers in law Barbara and Tadeusz Korzep; Bozena and Jan Domanski of East Hartford and two sisters in law, Jadwiga Dlugozima of Poland and Elzbieta Dlugozima of Arizona. She was predeceased by three brothers Slawomir, Leszek and Antoni Dlugozima. She leaves many nieces, nephews, grandniece and nephews and many cousins.
Kinga will be remembered as a loving mom, a dear sister, a wonderful aunt and great-aunt, and a great friend who enjoyed spending time with family and friends as well as helping others. She was known for her warm personality, subtle humor, kindness, and strength. She leaves a legacy of unconditional love. She shall be missed and forever cherished.

Funeral service will be on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 11:00 Am at St. Cyril Methodious Church, 63 Popieluszko CT, Hartford. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Britain.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, September 8th from 3:00 to 5:00pm at the New Britain Memorial Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, CT Exit 37 off I 84 take a right the exit, funeral home is 1 1/2 miles on your right.
