

Lucille (Rheaume) Boissonneau, 91, widow of Herve Boissonneau passed away on Monday October 21, 2013. She was born in Canada and was daughter to the late Joseph and Alice (Croteau) Rheaume. She was a parishioner of Saint John the Evangelist Church, a member of Saint Ann Society and a retiree of Stanley Works after 43 yrs of service.Lucille was a huge fan and loved to watch the UCONN Huskies Girl Basketball team and was looking forward to the games this year. She loved to go to family gatherings to play a card game of Pinochle and tease the losers when she won. She was a great aunt to Cynthia, Alice, Jamie, David, Matthew and Jason also a great great aunt to Ian, Alexander, Sean and Lorelei. Lucille brought sunshine into our lives with her smiles, laughter and funny sayings.
She is survived and will be dearly missed by her sister, Elise Payeur of Canada, her nieces, Joan Evans, Doris Root, Jeannette Rheaume, Diane Francini, Jackie Payeur, Linda Banker and nephews Robert and Dennis Payeur, Norman Rheaume, Roger Rheaume and many cousins in Canada. She was predeceased by her sisters: Jeanne Roy and Rita Evans and her brother, Norman Rheaume Sr.
Funeral services are Friday, October 25, 2013 at 9:00am from New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain followed by the funeral liturgy at 10:00am in Sain John the Evangelist Church in New Britain. Burial will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery. Visitation hours will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
