

He was born in Poland and has lived in New Britain for most of his life. He was formerly employed by Stanley Works and Lewis Tree Service. Bob loved basketball and his favorite team was the Lakers, he enjoyed cooking and even if someone didn’t like it he would try to convince them it was excellent.
He was a loving son, father, grandfather and brother and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Piotr and Zofia Szuba of Colchester; wife, Barbara (Szmondrowski) Szuba, his beloved daughter, Jessica Szuba and her companion Aaron Roderick; his son Michael Szuba and his grandson, Juwel Garcia who was his life and joy, nothing made him smile more than Juwel. He is also survived by a sister, Genny Szuba and a brother, George Szuba and his wife, Melissa and nephews, Casey and Jared Szuba. He is also survived by nieces Mariah Burgos, Michelle Krzykowskiand, nephew Scott Krzykowski and his brother in law Andy Krzykowski and sister in law Diane Krzykowski and nieces Sheila and Christina Szmondrowski and Mother in law, Irena Szmondrowski, brothers in law, Henry and John Szmondrowski and nephew, John Szmondrowski Jr. He was predeceased by his father in law, Andrzej Szmondrowski.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church, 157 Broad St., New Britain. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
