Mark Panus, 35, of Plainville, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 23 in California. He was born on November 28th, 1981 in New Britain to Stanley and Celina Panus of Plainville. Mark graduated from Bristol Eastern High School in 2000, and recently went on to receive his degree in Occupational Therapy from Lincoln College of New England. He was pursuing a career to help others less fortunate. Mark loved people. In his heart there was a place for everyone, but family was of the utmost importance, which he would always put before himself. His caring soul, huge smile, humor, and extraordinary gift of connecting with people will stay forever in our hearts. Mark also had a passion for travel, and dreamed of exploring other cultures and different lands. In addition to his parents, Mark is survived and will be dearly missed by his brother Paul, his many cousins, and family members here and from Poland, and great friends.
Funeral services will be on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St. New Britain. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Sunday, July 30th from 3:00PM to 6:00PM at the New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain.
