On December 5, 1973, Guy and I welcomed an 8lb bundle named Scott.
For the next 41 years we watched a very happy child become a handsome teenager with his long hair. During his school years Scott enjoyed playing football and baseball, and playing in the rock band.
He grew to a beautiful young man. He was an accomplished bass player and sound engineer traveling with many musical talents. His son and music were his life.
The strong bond between Scott and his sister Karie was without a doubt something no one could touch. Family was very important to him.He could light up a room and was so full of life. He enjoyed people and sharing life stories. He always had fun where ever he was. Some knew him as “Flobee” and most recently “DJ BOX”.
He was respectful, loving, caring and protective of the ones he loved.
Dominic was the center of his universe and loved to coach Dom’s baseball team and cried when Dom hit his 1st homerun. His sensitivity, warmth and understanding were rare qualities that a mother could brag about. He loved the Yankees and wore their logo tattooed on his leg. His boisterous laugh could blow up a room with his presence.
In life, Scott was truly a hero in his son’s eyes and will remain a hero in our hearts forever. He made the decision to be an organ donor years ago. His flag will fly in New Haven and at our home for he is fulfilling his wish on January 8th at 8 pm…..Our son, my friend, my little boy, Scottie, we love you!
Written by Dom To his Daddy:
You were the best Dad in the whole world. I will always remember you. Thank you for helping me with baseball. I will miss your calls in the morning. I love you. I will take care of Norman and Maggie. I will wear your shirt at your funeral. I’ll miss you a lot. We will talk about you and remember you every single day. And I made you into my very own player on MLB 14.
