Stefania (Komornicka) Osiecka, 82, of Avon, CT, beloved wife of Jozef Osiecki, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 2, 1939, near Lwow, Poland. She was the daughter of the late Jozef and Julia Komornicka. She immigrated to the U.S. in June, 1984, with her husband and son. She was dedicated to her family and loved to spend time with them. Her biggest pride were her grandchildren and she was especially proud of her granddaughter who recently became a nurse. She was an amazing cook; her specialties were Polish soups, pierogi and golabki. She is survived by her husband, Jozef, and her son, Greg and his wife, Margaret, and her grandchildren Matthew, Sarah and Michael. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth Hucal Sikorsky and her son, Roman Hucal, and her nephews, Waldek Ptak and Richard Komornicki, of New Britain, and their wives Krystyna and Lydia, and nephews Stanislaw Komornicki, and Henry and Zbyszek Bielecki of Poland. She was predeceased by her brother, Mikolaj Komornicki, sisters Honorata Bielecki and Petronela Ptak of Poland.
