Tina Clementine Miano

Clementine "Tina" (Albano) Miano of New Britain, passed away peacefully on November 13. Born in 1925 in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late Pasqualina (Botta) and late Anthony Albano, she was ever-devoted to her family. A resident at the Jerome Home in New Britain, Tina took joy in knowing that her close relatives were with her during her last few days before passing on to her heavenly life.

She was the beloved widow of Jack Miano and devoted mother of her children, Charles Miano of New Britain and Jacqueline Tabellione and her husband, John of Atlanta, Georgia.

She was a active member and communicant of St. Ann Church and St. Ann Ladies' Guild and was formerly employed for several years at the radiology practice of Mandell and Blau, MD's, PC.

She is survived by her grandchildren, John Tabellione III of Arlington, VA; Justin Tabellione of Chicago, IL and his wife, Courtney; Justine Miano and Jack Miano, both of Newington. Tina was a proud great-grandmother of Allison Sophia Tabellione and Taylor Lucia Tabellione of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by dear cousins, Thomas Miano of New Britain and Salvatore Miano of Southington, as well as by several nieces and nephews. Tina was predeceased by her sister, Frances Provini and brother, Louis Albano, both of Springfield, MA.

The family wishes to extend its heartfelt appreciation to all of the staff at the Jerome Home and its sister facility, Arbor Rose, where Tina enjoyed the friendship and superb care of many.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 16, 2012 at 9:00 AM at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Church. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their last respects on Friday, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Directions, Exit 37 off I-84 take a right at the exit, 1 ½ miles on your right.
