

Zdzislawa Karwowska (Górska) 82, daughter of Adam and Agnieszka Górski, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by the family after long battle with cancer and Parkinson’s disease on January 24th in New Britain.
Zdzislawa was born in Karwowo, Poland. In late 1980s she immigrated to United States. She is survived by her daughter Eva Puzio of Kensington, son Kazimierz Karwowski and his wife Danuta of Plantsville, daughter Beata Gottner of New Britain, son Adam Karwowski and his wife Anna of New Britain, son in law Andrzej Nowak of Poland, her many grandchildren and great grandchildren: Pawel Nowak, Iwona Nowak and their children of Newington, Adrian and Sebastian, Martyna Karwowska and her boyfriend Matthew of Plainville, Izabela Jóźwiuk, her husband Michal and their children Olivia, Kacper, Melania and Noah of Poland, Alex Karwowski of New Britain, David Karwowski of Plainville, Jessica Szuba and her husband Brian of Cromwell, Patryk Nowak his wife Marta, children Jowita and Sandra of Poland, Kamil Nowak and his wife Patrycja of Poland, Adam Gottner of New Britain, Kevin Gottner and his girlfriend Nicole of Bristol, Jacob Karwowski of New Britain, Monika Karwowski and her children Gabriella and Dominik of New Britain, her friends and by many family members in United States and Poland.
Zdzislawa was preceded by her parents Agnieszka and Adam, husband Ryszard Karwowski, daughter Marzena Małgorzata Nowak, son in law Darius Gottner, Janusz Karwowski, Richard Puzio, her grandchildren Bernadetta Nowak and Patrick Karwowski.
Zdzislawa after moving to United States was parishioner of Sacred Heart Church of New Britain. Zdzislawa worked in agriculture, Red Door Pizza, Five Stars, Capitol Cleaning, and as a caregiver for very ill patients.
Zdzislawa was very dedicated mother, grand and great mother, loved outdoors, gardening, reading and spent time with her family. Her good sense of humor, contagious laugh, helping hand and love for her family will be deeply missed.
Family would like to thank her caregiver Świetlana ( Lena ) Didyk and Franciscans Hospice for the care that was given thru her illness.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday January 30, 2026 from 4PM to 7PM. Interment Services will be held privately at the discretion of the family.
