I have known John since  June 1990, when I helped hire him to be the facility maintenance manager at Breeze-Eastern Corp. in Union, NJ.  He was totally dedicated to the company and worked long hours, even on weekends and holidays if needed.
I enjoyed John's good humor and stories about his work exploits in Africa in earlier years.   He was definitely one of those "Most Interesting Characters" that you would hope to meet in your life.
My sincere condolences to his wife, Sheri.
