Anita L. Soprano

Anita L. (Malandruccolo) Soprano, a long-time resident of New City, passed away on December 23rd, 2015. Born in 1938 in the Bronx, NY, she settled down in Rockland County for over 47 years, first in Valley Cottage and then New City, NY, where she raised five children; Joseph Jr., Annette, Steven, Christine, and Michael. Anita was an Administrative Assistant for State Farm in their Claims office in both Valley Cottage and Suffern, NY for many years before her retirement. Anita loved her family very much and gave everything to them, supporting every need with all that she could give. She was an avid sports fan who

enjoyed watching all of her favorite teams but none more than her beloved New York Yankees. Anita had a quick wit, great sense of humor, and was a strong, independent woman who was loved by all. She is survived by 3 brothers, one sister, her five children, along with 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild, who she loved and cared for deeply. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 30th, from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 31st, 10:00am, at St. Anthony's Parish Church, Nanuet, followed by interment at St. Anthony's

Cemetery.
